A Transgender Woman Trying To Create Safe Transitional Housing For Trans Folk in SF

Over the past few years while supporting my daughter I have been contemplating the question of what more I can do to help trans people beyond being supportive of my daughter.

I have donated to The Transgender Law Center, I've become a Triangle Speaker with the Santa Cruz Diversity Center.

Still I've been wondering what more might I be able to do?

What keeps coming to mind is to somehow provide safe transitional housing for trans people, in particular trans teens who have been rejected by their family.

Then this morning I woke up to a Facebook friend request from Michelle-Lael Norsworthy, a trans woman who's doing just that after she was unable to find it for herself upon her release from prison.
